My host family

Backyard
Farm

Jonathan(father), Odeta(mother) and Delila(sister) are our host family. They hosted me and my friend Haru. They have very nice personality and kindness and welcomed us with warmly. First of all, they put their care on our physical condition first, and kindly taught us how to live in a country we had never lived in, what it was like here, what was fun, what was there, and so on.

Kelowna trip

Kelowna trip

Our trip to Kelowna was so beautiful and amazing. The first thing to mention is that this city has a beautiful and vast lake. When we visited the lake, the sun was just about to set, and we were happy to see a very beautiful lake.

And the city of Kelowna is also very clean and beautiful, so just walking around was fun and satisfying for me. Then I visited a thrift store and a vintage shop and got some vintage items as souvenirs for my friends. I had a very good experience. To be honest, I’d rather live in Kelowna than Kamloops.

Frozen River

Standing On Ice

Haru and I live in a house quite close to the Thompson River, and walking along it was actually one of our hobbies. Then, in mid-November, about 10 days after it began to snow in Kamloops, we found a frozen river waiting for us in our usual walk. We had no choice to stand on the ice. It was our first time standing on a frozen river and it was a lot of fun.

Happy Halloween!

We had a Halloween party in our class. And I did my pumpkin face paint, and everyone came in high quality costumes, which was very exciting. Actually, it was the first time for me to experienced Halloween of this quality. And I was happy to take many pictures!
