Hi! My name is Natsuki Tanaka. I’m an international student in Thompson Rivers University.
I will explain about reasons why I came to Canada. First reason is because I want to increase my English skills. Of course, studying English is possible in Japan, and also it is possible to communicate in English if the English speakers are around my life in Japan. However, living in a society where English is actually used as the main language makes me feel English is a part of my daily life, and I think that it will motivate me to learn English. Second, I have a dream of becoming a bank clerk. The bank which I want to attend has some services that utilize the bank’s overseas network, such as overseas business support services, and if I have experienced that living in Canada, I can help corporate customers expand their business by my English skills. I believe that it will be possible to support and be pleased with more people. For these reasons, I’m studying abroad. living in the Kamloops were surrounded by more realistic English and obviously different environment is hard for me. However, I decided to do study and try to get many experiences here.
